2008 Commercial HVAC Upstream Partner Initiative

Efficiency Vermont has implemented an upstream partner initiative to increase sales and installation of high-efficiency, commercial packaged HVAC equipment.

This program is designed to reduce energy use and summer peak demand for Vermont businesses, while providing consistency and ease of use for the HVAC industry that serves them.

Who are Upstream Partners?

Commercial HVAC upstream partners are distributors and suppliers who have agreed to work with Efficiency Vermont to improve availability and cost effectiveness of high efficiency equipment for contractors/installers in Vermont. They are familiar with the minimum efficiency requirements needed to qualify for Efficiency Vermont customer incentives.

Upstream partners are prepared and eager to assist contractors, building owners and facility managers with obtaining qualifying equipment.

How do I Identify Upstream Partners?

Commercial HVAC upstream partners can be identified through the Business Marketplace by performing a search for HVAC Suppliers/Distributors.

What if I Have More Questions?

If you would like more information on the Upstream Partner Initiative, please contact Amy Patenaude at Efficiency Vermont.
