2006 Highlights:
Every kWh saved by Efficiency Vermont is a kWh that did not have to be generated or purchased by Vermont utilities. Since 2000, approximately 318 million kWh have been saved, and Vermont?s rate of load growth has been cut by two-thirds.

In 2006, Efficiency Vermont helped 12% of electric ratepayers ? 38,660 Vermonters? save electricity. Since 2000, when Efficiency Vermont began operations, more than 50% of ratepayers have partnered with Efficiency Vermont to save
electricity.

According to the savings verification process carried out by the Vermont Department of
Public Service, Efficiency Vermont savings in 2006 were more than 56 million kWh.
